Howl to Communicate with Wolves

Algonquin Provincial Park is one of the most accessible places to get up close and personal with wolf packs. Visitors can stand in the peaceful surroundings of the stunning park and listen to wild wolves howl, just three hours from the major Canadian cities of Toronto and Ottawa. There are 35 wolf packs in Algonquin Park. The park’s Naturalists offer people a unique experience where they take groups to an area of the park where packs can be found, howl for them and get wild wolf packs to serenade you.
These events are held during August, as this is when the packs can be easily located. The experience is so popular it can draw in crowds of up to 2000 people at a time and more people have heard wolves howl in Algonquin Park than anywhere else in the world. The Algonquin Park wolves are a unique species that aren’t found anywhere else in Canada and the park’s researchers have been studying their movements for over 50 years making them experts in their field.
