Our long-term collaborator, S&B Herbafoods approached us in March 2016 looking to expand their social and digital offering for iconic US brand Sun-Maid Raisins, we looked to utilise the skillset of our talented content team.
Boasting years of combined social media management and community curation experience, the team set about producing and executing a 12-month social media strategy that would re-engage with Sun-Maid’s key audience and open new consumer avenues.
Following the brief, we produced a full year’s social media strategy for creating, managing and developing Sun-Maid’s UK social media presence across Facebook and Twitter, cover an initial three month trial period and beyond.
The strategy encompassed all elements of social content and production, including short-form recipe videos, competition mechanics and community management.
Once brand guidelines and style were agreed with both S&B and Sun-Maid’s US personnel, all mechanics were executed and reported, generating excellent growth and user engagement.
Overall, the buzz created by the launch and subsequent development of the communities has led to a huge spike in engagement and brand awareness of Sun-Maid California Raisins UK on the world’s two largest social platforms.
The success of the initial three-month trial period resulted in a full 12-month social media management contract, which as of October 2016, has developed exponentially, while retaining a high rate of engagement and continuing to grow every day.
At present, the Twitter community sits ant just under 2,000 while Facebook fan numbers are set to hit 5,000 in Q4 2016.
