On Wednesday 5th October 2016, 4mediarelations ran its most successful social media live stream to date, as Kat Von D, one of the world’s most famous tattoo artists, popped into the studio to discuss the launch of her brand new make-up range.
The range, exclusive to Debenhams, was unveiled at a lavish launch event on the morning of the campaign, with the Miami Ink and LA Ink star meeting fans at the flagship store on London’s Oxford Street. Alongside a stellar schedule of TV and radio interviews with Kat, including full syndication across Bauer Group stations, 4mediarelations organised a social media audience Q&A on Facebook Live, where Kat was interviewed by Lou Teasdale, One Direction’s personal hair and make-up artist.
More than 260,000 people watched the stream live and, at time of writing, it has received more than 100,000 subsequent views, alongside 16,000 likes, 2,000 comments and 374 shares. Watch the full video stream here:
This further extended the reach of a campaign which had already been seen by millions across the globe on BBC World News, 4music and Kerrang! TV, among a host of other networks.
